Michael is board-certified in Physical Therapy and specially trained in weight and fitness training.
He holds three degrees from Long Island University:

As the proprietor of Island Rehabilitation Associates, Michael is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care in a professional atmosphere.
Michael’s approach to patients includes tailoring a treatment plan that matches their goals, utilizing clinically proven techniques, and most importantly, treating them as he would his close friends or family members.
He is a well-respected member of the community and active in Rotary and the West Hempstead Chamber of Commerce. Michael is known for his infectious laugh, kindness and compassion.
Aaron S. Brown, CLINICAL DIRECTOR

​​Aaron S. Brown is a board-certified and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, serving as the Clinical Director at Island Rehabilitation Associates. He earned his degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Nassau Community College, with further advancing his PTA degree at PIMA Medical Institute. Aaron has built his career on a lifelong passion for helping others, inspired by his father’s work in the field.
Before entering direct patient care, Aaron gained extensive experience as a Facilities Manager in a family-owned and operated clinic, developing strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills that now enhance his role as Clinical Director.
Aaron provides comprehensive treatment to patients of all ages, addressing a wide range of orthopedic injuries and neurological conditions. He is recognized for his expertise in manual therapy techniques, as well as in designing targeted therapeutic exercise programs. His patient-centered, one-on-one approach ensures each individual receives highly personalized care aimed at achieving the best possible recovery and return to daily life.
Aaron’s commitment to clinical excellence, combined with his leadership in guiding the practice’s vision and operations, makes him a trusted provider and an integral part of the Island Rehabilitation Associates team.
